Congratulations and thank you to Bend Police Department and Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office for raising close to $35,000 at the 2007 Polar Plunge in Bend! With the help of the Central Oregon community, Law Enforcement from around Oregon and brave souls willing to risk life and limb to jump into the frigid waters of the Deschutes River, the Polar Plunge blew us away. Numbers are still coming in, but we estimate that we had close to 200 plungers and almost 400 spectators and volunteers supporting our zany plungers. Not bad for a first year! We hope to see you all next year!
