INTERNATIONAL LETR CONFERENCE
The International LETR Conference took place in Oklahoma City from October 31—November 4. Eight representatives brought back some great news:
PROGRAM AWARD
For the first time, LETR Oregon won the Sapphire Award which is the award given to recognize programs that raise $250,000 or more! (The fundraising period was September 1, 2006 to August 31, 2007 and it is a gross dollar amount.) CONGRATULATIONS AND THANK YOU for making this happen.
PHOTO CONTEST
Special Olympics Oregon staffer, Erin Houlihan took a photo that tied for Second Place in the International Association of Chief's of Police photo contest in the category of "Law enforcement in support of the Special Olympics athletes."
