The Torch Ride is open to all motorcycle riders, and the conclusion of the ride at Salem’s Riverfront Park will include lunch, raffle prizes and the drawing for the 2009 Harley Davidson Raffle!
Join us for a one-day motorcycle ride that, with your help, can make a significant difference in our efforts to raise money for Special Olympics Oregon.

2009 POLAR PLUNGE!
A splashing success!!!
Because of you, Polar Plunge Columbia presented by Mattress World and Polar Plunge Deschutes were incredibly successful. THANK YOU!! In its first year, nearly 630 brave souls took the plunge on Saturday, February 21. Sunny skies and a brisk east wind made for a bright, yet chilly back drop for plungers as they lined up at Broughton Beach on the Columbia River. Polar Plunge Columbia raised more than $95,000 for Special Olympics Oregon!
In its third year, Polar Plunge Deschutes didn’t disappoint! More than 515 Central Oregon citizens took the plunge into the icy Deschutes River on a crisp and clear, but frigid Central Oregon night. Polar Plunge Deschutes brought in nearly $60,000 for the athletes of Special Olympics Oregon!
